Preamble

These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern your use of Solum Legacy. By creating an account, contributing artifacts, or accessing vaults, you agree to these terms. Solum Legacy is custodian, not owner; families and communities hold sovereignty.

1. Eligibility

• You must be 18 or older to create an Ancestor account.
• Minors may contribute only under family accounts, initiated by a parent/guardian.
• Accounts may not be created by automated means or without proper authorization.

2. Accounts & Access

• Ancestor Accounts: Subscription holders with full sovereignty over their vault.
• Family Accounts: Managed by a designated admin; minors may contribute under guardian control.
• Community Vaults: Owned by civic organizations (e.g., Chamber of Commerce, city office).
• Curators/Executors: Access only when explicitly granted by the vault owner.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you contribute.
• You must not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• You agree not to misuse Solum Legacy systems (e.g., hacking, unauthorized access).
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Ancestor accounts require a subscription.
• Community vaults may be gifted (e.g., Dunlap, TN; Belpre, OH).
• Families are never penalized for stopping payments; continuity covenant ensures preservation.

5. Data Rights

• You retain ownership of your data.
• You may delete or export your data at any time.
• You may set posthumous protections (immutable, revocable, conditional).
• Solum Legacy does not sell or monetize user data.

6. Sharing & Integrations

• Data is shared only when initiated by you.
• Supported exports: Word, PDF, CSV, Notion, Teams, email.
• Current MVP integrations: Zapier, OpenAI, Teams.
• Future integrations (“dream connections”) will require explicit consent.

7. Security

• MVP protections: SSL/TLS, MFA for ChatGPT and Notion.
• Future protections: social login + mandatory 2FA.
• Shield emblem represents both symbolic trust and operational security.

8. Community Reserve

• 10% civic equity is financial only; it does not affect privacy or vault access.
• Founding towns (Dunlap, TN and Belpre, OH) receive gifted subscriptions.

9. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time.
• Solum Legacy may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these T&C.
• Termination does not erase immutable artifacts if you have set them to be preserved.

10. Policy Updates

• Solum Legacy may update these T&C as governance and technology evolve.
• Changes will be logged in the Ledger and communicated through the dashboard.

Closing Covenant

By using Solum Legacy, you agree to honor biography, cadence, and ritual as living artifacts. Families retain sovereignty, Solum acts as custodian, and communities hold symbolic equity. Every artifact is governed by consent, continuity, and dignity.
